Conclusions

  1. 1.

Deformation by rolling of naturally aged alloy 1163 with ε ≥7% leads to a reduction in fracture toughness.

  2. 2.

After deformation with a degree of 11–15%, compared with deformation ε=7% adopted previously for manufacturing alloy D16 sheets, a greater increase in strength properties is achieved with the same levels of ductility, fracture toughness, homogeneous distribution of dislocations, and also low-cycle fatigue indices not lower than in the original naturally aged condition.
