Abstract

The article describes the results of the experimental determination of the corrosion properties of 40C, 15NiMo, 20CrNi, and 36Mo17 steels in mineralized hydrogen sulfide solutions. It was concluded that steels 36Mo17 and 15NiMo are most suitable for service in H2S-bearing corrosive media.
