1.
On the basis of general expressions that have been obtained, relating the calculated mass spectral characteristics with molecular structure, mean group coefficients have been calculated for the mutual superimposition of characteristic sums arid sensitivity coefficients in the mass spectra of aromatic hydrocarbons and sulfur-containing compounds.

2.
A mass spectrometric method of analysis has been developed for aromatic hydrocarbons and sulfur-containing compounds, with the establishment of the content of 23 groups of compounds CnH2n-6 to CnH2n-24, and CnH2n-4S to CnH2n-28S and CnH2n-16S2, with a 10% relative error and a 2–3% sensitivity of determination.
