  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Titanium-modified heat-resistant bearing steel 8Kh4M4V2F1T-Sh is not susceptible to overheating during quenching, can be quenched from a broad range of temperatures, and has high mechanical properties.

  2. 2.

The contact fatigue strength of titanium-modified steel 8Kh4M4V2F1T-Sh exceeds that of steels 8Kh4V9F2-Sh and 8Kh4M4V2F1-Sh.
