Conclusions
-
1.
The applicability of the criterion of brittle failure containing the magnitude KIc for evaluating the state of thermal stress of rolls should be limited by the evaluation of the permissible level of residual stresses in the object.
-
2.
For the evaluation of the limit level of temporary stresses it is a promising approach to use a criterion containing Rms.
