Abstract
The effect of acyl and carboxyl groups in position 2 or 3 of the indole ring on the13C chemical shifts of the ring was studied, α-, β-, and γ-Increments of the indole and isatin rings for13 C chemical shifts of the substituants at the ring N-atom were determined.
