Abstract
Novel hydroxyphosphoranes were synthesized using the oxidative method from triphenylphosphine, 1,1′-dihydroxydicyclohexyl, benzopinacol, and aminophenol in the presence oftert-butyl hydroperoxide. Hydroxyphosphoranes were also obtained from triphenylphosphine oxide, and the series of dihydric phenols and diols mentioned above.
