Abstract
Mica powder was dispersed in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in different percentages by weight and the thermally stimulated discharge current of the composites was studied. The results are discussed in terms of dipolar and space charge polarization that leads to induced dipole formation. Activation energies have been calculated for all the samples by the initial rise method.
