Summary
A histochemical analysis of tumors induced in the rat both through nitrosoethylurea transplacental administration, and methylnitrosourea i.v. chronic administration has been performed. The hydrolytic enzyme activities, acid phosphatase, non specific esterase, beta-glucuronidase, alkaline phosphatase have been studied in neurinomas and gliomas. The findings are compared with those in human tumors.
Zussammenfassung
Eine histochemische Untersuchung von durch transplacentare Verabreichung von Nitrosoäthyl-Harnstoff und i.v. Gabe von Methylnitroso-Harnstoff an Ratten induzierten Geschwülsten wurde durchgeführt. Die Aktivität hydrolytischer Enzyme, saurer Phosphatase, unspezifischer Esterase, beta-Glucuronidase und alkalischer Phosphatase wurde an Neurinomen und Gliomen untersucht. Die Befunde werden mit jenen bei memschlichen Geschwülsten verglichen.
