Conclusions
-
1.
A recrystallization diagram was plotted for steel R12F4K5.
-
2.
The secondary recrystallization temperature of high-speed steels with an elevated (over 2–3%) vanadium concentration is 30–50° below the quenching temperature.
-
3.
A method of HTMT was proposed and tested for steel R12F4K5 which ensures an increase of the strength by 20–25% along with high hardness and red hardness.
