Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

The addition of 0.9% Si to alloy YuNDK24 increases the incubation period to 1.5 h at 950°, which permits the use of LTTMT.

  2. 2.

LTTMT ensures high magnetic properties of alloy YuNDK24 with 0.9% Si. This treatment can be recommended for the production of permanent magnets.
