Conclusion

  1. 1.

    It was shown that hardening of steels 45 and 65G by MTT results from strain aging processes.

  2. 2.

    Commercial trials of MTT at the Gor'kovskii Automobile Plant showed that the springs attain the same quality, while the manufacturing technology is improved.
