Abstract

Spectrophotometric observations in optical region (λλ 3800∼8000 Å) on the symbiotic object V 1329 Cyg (HBV 475) were carried out with the 122 cm telescope of the Astrophysical Observatory of Asiago in 1979 and 1980. Significant changes of intensity of emission lines with a time-scale of a few weeks were observed. The results of these observations suggest that probably V 1329 Cyg is a Nova-like object with recurrent outbursts at intervals of about 950 days. The properties of this object seem to agree with those of a white dwarf which is accreting mass rapidly.
