Abstract

The flow problem of an elasto-viscous liquid (Walter-B type) due to impulsively accelerated motion of an infinite porous plate is considered. The effect of suction and flow parameters is analysed. It is found that at a fixed time the fluid velocity and skin friction at any point decrease with the increase in suction and fluid elastic parameters.
