Summary

The vibrational spectra of someN- andN-N′-monosubstituted oxamide complexes with NiII are presented. The vibrational analysis is given for a planarC 2h structure for eight isotopes of theN-methyloxamide derivative. The Et, Pr, Bu, cyclo-Pr and i-Bu derivatives give analogous complexes. Octahedral NiII complexes have been prepared withN,N′-di-methyloxamide.
