Carbohydrate tolerance during beta-adrenergic blockade in hypertension

Summary

Glucose tolerance tests were done in hypertensive patients before and after treatment for several months with the beta-blocking compound pindolol, Visken. The mean blood sugar and serum insulin levels did not alter significantly during the treatment.
