Abstract

A device for measuring the magnetic properties of powder bodies with a packed density close to the bulk density is described. The magnetic properties of porous bodies made of iron powder and of composite ferromagnetic abrasive powders of various granularities and various amounts of ferromagnetic components are measured and the magnetization curves are plotted.
