Conclusions

The use of one of the methods of mathematical statistics has made it possible not only to obtain a theoretical formula for the distribution of fibre length in a yarn and to find the connection between the theoretical distribution law and the practical results, but has afforded the possibility of predicting the properties of the final product — the yarn.

Fibre processing has confirmed the assumptions stated above on the satisfactory ability of Oksalon fibre to be processed into a high-quality yarn.
