Abstract
The mechanism and kinetics of vinyl chloride adsorption on cobalt-chromium catalyst were investigated by means of a response method, gravimetry, and IR spectroscopy. The mechanism of chemisorption of the chlorohydrocarbon consists of its oxidative decomposition and the formation of surface compounds with various bond strengths.
