Histology of micrometastases of malignant melanoma

Summary

The results of an examination of numerous micrometastases of malignant melanoma are reported. The histological appearance and the changing textures are discussed together with the significance of micrometastases for the continuance of malignant melanoma. The above mentioned material was of removed from regional lymphnodes.

Zusammenfassung

Aus einem größeren Untersuchungsgut ausgewählte Mikrometastasen bei malignem Melanom, ihre histologischen Erscheinungsformen und ihr Gestaltswandel werden abgehandelt. Das Material stammt von operativ entfernten regionären Lymphknoten. Die Bedeutung der Mikrometastasen für das Fortbestehen der Melanomkrankheit wird erörtert.
