Abstract
N-(β, γ-Dihydroxypropyl)aniline was subjected to reaction with aldehydes. It was proved that the reaction products are 3-phenyl-5-hydroxymethyloxazolidines. A number of 3-phenyl-5-acyloxymethyloxazolidines were obtained by the reaction of the latter with acid anhydrides.
