Urological complications after total hip replacement

Summary

Two cases of acute (partial) obstruction of the ureter following total hip replacement ad modum Charnley are reported. The two cases are found to be caused by action from an intrapelvic cement plug. Similar cases from the literature are referred.

Es wird über zwei Fälle von eingeschränkter Nierenfunktion als Folge einer Ureterkompression nach alloplastischem totalem Hüftgelenkersatz unter Anwendung eines Zentrierloches berichtet.
