II. Pyruvate kinase and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase activities at various metabolic states

Summary

D-Glucose and D-xylose addition to not-growing Rhodotorula gracilis cells brings about alterations in pyruvate kinase and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase activities characteristic for glycolysis and gluconeogenesis, respectively.
