Summary

The results of his studies of Perthes's disease as well as Luxatio coxae congenita led the author to the opinion that the cases which were designated as idiopathic femurheadnecrosis or as Chandler's disease did not represent the outcome of circulatory disorders but a condition resulting from the unnoticed spontaneous reposition of a congenital dislocation of the hip joint.
