Zusammenfassung

Die Systemische Juvenile idiopathische Arthritis (SJIA) zählt vor allem in der Initialphase zu den Autoinflammationserkrankungen. Zu Beginn der Erkrankung sind die klassischen Symptome Fieber, Exanthem und Arthritiden. Gefürchtet ist der Übergang in eine chronische destruierende Polyarthritis. Entscheidend sind die frühe Diagnosestellung und Therapieeinleitung. Anhand eines Fallberichtes werden die Diagnosestellung und aktuelle Therapiestrategien erläutert.
