Summary

Irisangiography was made in ten non-diabetic patients with uncomplicated senile cataract. Fluorescein leakage at the pupillary border was a regular finding. Leakage was most prominent in hypermature cataract. Postoperatively the leakage diminished and was seen in two eyes with a low intraocular pressure < 10 mm Hg. The findings were discussed.

Zusammenfassung

Der Iriskreislauf bei senilem Star wurde vor und nach der Operation an 10 Augen unter Anwendung der Fluoresceintechnik untersucht. Präoperativ lag in allen Augen ein pathologischer Durchtritt am Pupillenrand vor. Er war besonders stark bei überreifem Star. Postoperativ atrophierten die radiären Gefäße. Die Einschwemmung von Fluorescein am Pupillenrand verminderte sich oder verschwand vollständig.
