Summary

Cervical haemangioblastomas may be found incidentally in the course of diagnostic procedures performed on subjects suspected of cerebellar lesions. The case is described of a 52 year-old patient with an angioblastoma of the cervical spinal cord in which the diagnosis was made by vertebral angiography. Retrograde visualisation of the vertebral arteries via the brachial artery is a simple method which provides an excellent demonstration of pathological vessels in the region of the cervical spinal column.
