Summary
The value of axial tomoencephalography is discussed in the light of experience of about 2000 patients examined with the Neuro-Princeps apparatus during the past 4 years. This technique may be applied at any point during pneumoencephalography, without inconveniencing the patient. It gives a precise demonstration of the size, site and relationships of expanding lesions of the brain and amplifies knowledge of other intracranial diseases.

L'auteur discute la valeur de la tomoencéphalographie axiale sur la base de son expérience de 2000 malades examinés avec le neuro-princeps durant les quatre dernières années. Cette technique peut être appliquée à chaque phase au cours de la pneumoencéphalographie, sans inconvénient pour le malade. Elle démontre avec précision la taille, la situation et les rapports des lésions expansives du cerveau et augmente l'information sur les autres lésions intracrániennes.
Zusammenfassung
Die Untersuchungen wurden mit dem Neuro-Princeps während der letzten 4 Jahre an 2000 Patienten durchgeführt. Es zeigt sich dabei eine genaue Demonstration der Größe, der Lokalisation eines raumfordernden intracraniellen Prozesses und seine Beziehung zum Ventrikelsystem.
