Abstract

The venom of the black widow spider, Latrodectus Tredecimguttatus, which is capable of liberating acetylcholine in demyelinated motor nerve fibres, enhances significantly the survival time of mice intoxicated with botulinus toxin A.

Zusammenfassung

Das Gift von Latrodectus Tredecimguttatus, das an der demyelisierten motorischen Faser Acetylcholin freizusetzen vermag, verlängert an Mäusen mit Vergiftung durch Botulinus-Toxin A signifikant die Überlebenszeit.
