Abstract

The possibility of transfer of free Mn2+ cations directly from the blood plasma into the bile in rats followed by a nonenzymatic formation of complexes with the bile components was suggested. Mn2+ might be also excreted into the bile as a complex with bile acids or N-containing compounds formed in the liver.
