A case of femoral neuropathy associated with eczema herpeticum

Zusammenfassung

Bei Befall der peripheren Nerven durch Herpes simplex-Viren gab es einige wenige Fälle von Trigeminusneuralgie, wiederholter Neuralgie und idiopathischer Facialisparese. Wir geben die Beschreibung eines Falles von Femoralislähmung, begleitet von Herpes simplex-Infektion. Es handelte sich um ein 14 Monate altes Kind, das einige Tage nach einem Eczema herpeticum eine rechte Femoralislähmung hatte und sich innerhalb 4 Monaten erholte. Dies ist vielleicht der erste Fall einer Femoralislähmung, begleitet von Herpes simplex-Viren. Dahingehende experimentelle Untersuchungen zeigen auch eine besondere Affinität der Herpes simplex-Viren für periphere Nerven. Unser Fall scheint diesbezügliche Forschungsresultate zu bekräftigen.
