    Intestinale Atmung per os oder per anum dürfte den Polychäten abzusprechen sein.

  2. 2.

    Die Hautatmungsventilation wird für etwa hundert Arten mehr oder weniger eingehend beschrieben.

  3. 3.

    Eine Übersicht der ventilatorischen Mechanismen der Familien und Gruppen wird geliefert.

  4. 4.

    Eine atmungsökologische Gruppierung wird versucht.

  5. 5.

    Eine marine Sauerstoffmikrostratifikation wird abgelehnt.
