Abstract
A study was made of the serum and amniotic fluid levels of several acute phase reactants (seromucoid, haptoglobin, and sialic acid) and enzymatic activities (lactate dehydrogenase, leucylnaphthylamidase, γ-glutamyltranspeptidase, aminotransferases, cholmesterase, and alkaline and acid phosphatases) in pregnant and nonpregnant rats treated with epoxy resin Epidian 5 or triethylenetetraamine stabilizer. Changes produced by the action of the chemicals were similar, including the majority of the serum constituents examined. On the other hand, composition of amniotic fluid was found to be only slightly altered.
Zusammenfassung
Im Serum und Fruchtwasser von nichtschwangeren und schwangeren Ratten, welchen Epoxydharz-Epidian 5 und Härter-Triäthylentetramin epikutan aufgetragen wurde, untersuchte man einige Faktoren der akuten Phase (Seromukoid, Haptoglobin, Sialsäure) und die Aktivität der Enzyme (Lactatdehydrogenase, Leucylnaphtylamidase, γ-Glutamyltranspeptidase, Aminotransferase, Cholinesterase, alkalische und saure Phosphatase). Die durch beide Substanzen versuchten Veränderungen waren in der Mehrzahl der geprüften Parameter ähnlich; anderseits jedoch erwiesen die Fruchtwasserbestandteile eine minimale Veränderung auf.
