Synopsis
The scope of the present paper is to discuss the mechanical properties of poly/vinyl acetate/ /PVAc/ gels on the basis of scaling laws. The effect of different factors — the initial polymer concentration, the relative average molecular mass of the primary chains and the ratio of the pendent chains — has been studied.
