Axis of a circular jet in cross-flow

Abstract

This note presents a semi-empirical method for predicting the axes of circular jets issuing perpendicularly into cross-flows. The predictions of this method have been found to agree well with the authors' experimental results. This method also predicts well the axes for the oblique jets of Platten and Keffer.
