Summary

After intraperitoneal injection of 1,3-dimethyl-4-amino-5-nitroso-uracile in oily suspension (single dose 0,2 g/kg, total dose 3 g/kg) in Sprague-Dawley-rats a carcinogenic effect could not be found. After subcutaneous application (single dose 2 g/kg, total dose 16 g/kg) in 6 of 40 rats local sarcomas occurred at the site of application.

Zusammenfassung

Nach i. p. Injektion von 1,3-Dimethyl-4-amino-5-nitroso-uracil in öliger Suspension (Einzeldosis 0,2 g/kg; Gesamtdosis 3 g/kg) war bei Sprague-Dawley-Ratten eine carcinogene Wirkung nicht nachweisbar. Bei s. c. Applikation (Einzeldosis 2 g/kg; Gesamtdosis 16 g/kg) entstanden bei 6 von 40 Ratten lokale Sarkome an der Applikationsstelle.
