Abstract
A case of isolated tricuspid regurgitation quantified by gated cardiac blood pool scan is reported. The main features of the scan were an increase in the right ventricular end-diastolic and stroke volumes compared with the left ventricular stroke volume, together with a systolic increase in the liver blood pool. The right ventricular regurgitant fraction, calculated to be 65%, was consistent with the angiographic estimate of severe tricuspid regurgitation.
