Summary
Experimental values of the storage G′ (ω) and loss G″ (ω) moduli were obtained at different temperatures for several fractions of poly(diethylene glycol terephthalate). By assuming that all the relaxation mechanisms have the same temperature dependence, free volume parameters were obtained. The qualitative analysis of the molecular weight dependence of the viscosity at zero shear rate suggests that well developed entanglements are present in the relatively low molecular weight fractions investigated.
