Abstract
The application of statistical analysis on the set of tropospheric temperature data obtained from daily radiosonde launchings at Berlin-Tempelhof (52.5°N; 13°E) from June 1958 to June 1986 in the height range 46 m - 10 km does not confirm a dependence of tropospheric temperature on sunspot number previously considered to be inside the bounds of possibility.
