Spectral and Luminescence Properties of Lanthanide(III) Complexes with Porphyrins and Corroles with Varied Structure

The effects of the structure of the macrocyclic ligand and nature of the lanthanide on the spectral and luminescence properties of Nd(III), Yb(III), and Lu(III) complexes with substituted porphyrins and corroles were examined. These complexes display both lanthanide 4f emission and ligand fluorescence despite the presence of paramagnetic ions.
