Isolation of hispidin from a walnut-tree fungus and its antioxidant activity

Abstract

An α-styrylpyrone derivative — hispidin — has been isolated from a walnut-tree fungus. Its antioxidant activity has been studied inin vitro andin vivo experiments on animals of different ages.
