Abstract

Congenital embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma of the tongue is an extremely uncommon entity. A 2-day-old female with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma of the tongue was recently treated successfully by surgery alone at the Paediatric Surgery Division of Children's Hospital, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. This is only the second case reported in the English literature.
