Abstract

Rapid globalization is a principal feature of the modern information space. Among the many aspects of this diverse phenomenon, its information aspect attracts constantly increasing interest, both on the part of researchers and the general public. This feature is the crossing point of two major social processes, namely, globalization and informatization (in combination with environmentalization). All these factors are closely linked to advancing noospheric genesis; information technologies play an exceptionally important role in the transformation of the common sociocultural environment.
