Abstract

The article studies the problems of information and communication technology’s influence on modern society, economy and human life. It discusses radical transformations of social, economic and mental spheres. The authors interpret informatization and computerization not only as technological but as global social phenomena. Transformation of the modern human being into the so called “homo informaticus” is also analyzed. Its features and distinctive characters are accented. Finally an influence of informatization on economic sphere is considered. The authors show the great changes brought by information economy into the social, communication and production spheres.
