Abstract

A complex of studies, including structural-geomorphological analysis, statistical processing of satellite-image data, and satellite radar interferometry allowed us to identify the arch-block pattern of modern dislocations in the study area, to reveal the nature of their relationship with ancient complexes, and to estimate the velocity of modern vertical movements. According to the geodynamic model that was developed using the IramRMS software, the formation of the modern structure occurred under the conditions of north-western horizontal compression (330°).
