Abstract

Polyurethane varnishes synthesized using complex aromatic oligoester diols. The coatings obtained from the varnishes are temperature resistant. The influence of the molecular mass and the structure of aromatic oligoester diol, as well as the origin of isocyanate, are studied from the standpoint of influencing coating properties. A composition of polyurethane varnish is found that makes heat-resistant coatings featuring a wide range of physical, mechanical, and protective properties.
