Polymer Science, Series D Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

The results of experimental studies on copolymerization kinetics of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate with carboxyl-containing monomers of acrylic, methacrylic, and maleic acids in water using the redox initiator system of ammonium persulfate–ascorbic acid are summarized. The effect of process conditions on the reaction rate, relative activity of monomers, composition, and microstructure of copolymers is analyzed.
