Abstract

The physicomechanical and rheological characteristics of epoxyphosphazene-modified binders based on an epoxy-resorcinol resin and isophorone diamine and diaminodiphenyl sulfone hardeners are investigated. It is shown that the introduction of epoxyphosphazene into the epoxy resin helps to maintain the technological characteristics of the binder at an acceptable level and to attain a 40% increase in the mechanical strength and rigidity of cured compositions possessing high heat resistance.
