Russian Journal of General Chemistry Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Reactions of 1-(chloromethyl)silatrane with organic group 14 element anions [(Me3Si)3E] (E = Si, Ge) generated in situ afforded the corresponding substitution products (Me3Si)3ECH2Si(OCH2CH2)3N, whereas no products of ring-expansion rearrangement were detected. The structure of the isolated compounds was determined by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy.
