Abstract
Heteroligand europium(III) complexes with o-methylbenzoic acid and neutral N- and P-organic compounds were obtained and characterized by chemical analysis, thermogravimetry, and IR spectroscopy. During the thermolysis of the complex compounds, a neutral ligand molecule is detached in one stage with an endothermic effect; the complex compounds are stable up to 240°C. According to IR spectroscopy data, bidentate-bridging coordination of the acid anion to the central europium(III) ion is realized in heteroligand europium(III) o-methylbenzoates.
